Why Use Skin Cream?

The skin is the largest organ in the body and like the teeth and the hair, proper maintenance is required if you want to keep it looking and feeling at its best. It is no surprise then that each year people spend billions on skin care creams. That’s billion, with a "b"!

These skin creams claim to do everything from removing lines and wrinkles to moisturising to simply cleaning the skin. But are these creams effective or are they simply a modern kind of snake oil? The truth is somewhere in the middle.

Skin creams are effective at cleaning and providing moisture for the skin, which can diminish dryness and irritation. They are also effective at removing makeup, dirt, and pollutants that stick to our skin whether we know it or not. However, there is little evidence to suggest that skin creams can be used to reduce wrinkles or take years off your face.

What to look for in a skin cream ? Believe it or not, people (mostly women) pay hundreds of pounds for fancy skin creams that promise them the world. These creams often contain exotic and scientific-sounding ingredients like Hydroxy Acids and B-glucans. But, as we mentioned, these ingredients have not proven effective in any at reducing lines or wrinkles.

Therefore, it is best to simply purchase a low cost skin remodeling cream, a moisturiser and exfoliating product to help remove older skin and diminish the appearance of minor blemishes. Using these three products as part of your daily skin care routine will help keep your skin looking healthy and clean.
